CanClip 1.85 does not detect Sensor - RTL2002 - sjdean - 27-10-2019

v1.85 of the CanClip is not detecting my CanClip. It was working fine in 1.76 and I thought I should upgrade because things didn't seem right with 1.76, some of the ECU programming options didn't seem to be there unlike others.

I've reinstalled Windows several times and still Im getting no joy.

I've replaced the AA_VimiSelection.dll file (IIRC) using the 1.78 version, and IM getting CLIP - FATAL ERROR.

Looks like Im in for another Windows reinstallation and backtrack to CanClip 1.76. But if anyone can give any thoughts, that would be great.

Thanks

I looked on the forum earlier and tried that as well. That hasn't worked either.

I've just downgraded to 1.78 after reinstalling Windows 7 32 bit for the nth time, and that one doesn't even load! I get a flash of the screen regarding the tracker software before the program bombs out with no information in Event Viewer. If I try to run from command prompt, I get a warning about qt-mt.dll being missing.

I could probably scream at this point.

I've gone up to 1.91, and the sensor is detected just fine. No need to swap the AA_?.dll, just swap over the XML files from a previous thread.
