SAGEM S3000 virging - Khaleal - 30-08-2014 Hi, My car started having issues and it was diagnosed with a faulty ECU. Renault dealer wants 600GBP in order to change the ECU! The car is Renault Megane II 1.6 16v 2005. It was pretty easy to find cheap secondhand ECUs with same part number (Renault Engine ECU S3000 21584288-2A 8200321263 8200387138) on eBay. But I'm aware it won't work with my car out of the box and it need to be decoded and set to virgin (self-programming) state. I decided to try tuning/decoding the secondhand ECU myself.. What equipment/software should I have? I searched the web and found some information about MPPS.. But anyway.. Your advice is appreciated I already own a Renault CAN CLIP capable of programming/reprogramming.. Can you recommend one? Is that possible without the procedure of desoldering and resoldering chips from the board? Yes Mate u can read it by obd all u need is KESS OBD version V42 look for it on internet and when u read ur ecu post dumb of it here and guys will take care of it and then write back to ur ecu and ur car will start immediately good luck RE: SAGEM S3000 virging - Khaleal - 01-09-2014 (31-08-2014, 11:00 AM)mrriadh Wrote:(30-08-2014, 23:37 PM)Khaleal Wrote: I'm new to this field What hardware should be used to connect between the ECU and the PC? But when I swap my current ECU with the secondhand ECU (which I want to make it virgin).. I won't be able to turn ignition ON with my current keycard.. Is that correct? Correct me if I'm wrong.. RE: SAGEM S3000 virging - Khaleal - 03-09-2014 Bump Please reply. RE: SAGEM S3000 virging - mecadiag - 05-09-2014 For virgin you need only to read the 95160 eeprom, kess cant read this, only read flash file RE: SAGEM S3000 virging - Crysis05 - 01-07-2015 (30-08-2014, 22:53 PM)Khaleal Wrote: Hi, RE: SAGEM S3000 virging - ariafar.reza - 15-02-2016 Hi guys . i have a virgin s3000 ecu for megan II . how learn it ? any body know ?
