Problem changing DME VIN on a E87 - kaname - 03-09-2014

Hi! I changed the DME of my E87 because of some water issue, so I bought an used one..
I replaced it, then I ran Inpa to check the ZB nr. so I can change the VIN on Winkfp, or tool32.
I read that you need Dattens files from the E89, so I loaded them without problem. The problem is when I enter the ZB Nr in Winkfp I got an error that it doesn't found it.
By the way, Im a little confuse, there is a sticker on the piece that it says that the Nr. is 7561834, but on INPA I got 7561819. Either way none of them I can find on WinKFP.
On Tool32, I can't find either the right .prg file for the job..
Please help. I can't start the engine..
Thank you guys..

Even if you could change the vin car wouldnt start, because your EWS aint paired with new DME. And EWS pairing wont work because of rolling code ISN. Get your old DME to someone who can try if it can be read using BDM reader and clone your old DME to the new one...

When I bought the DME the seller asked me for the old one so he could change the key.. So the only problem I'm having now is about the Vin I guess.. Please help.. Today I tried a newer daten but no luck at all

I already did it using BMW Update Tool.. That app is great.. You can check directly from the sp-sources the ECU update using the ZB#.. then I realized that the data required for the DME is storage on the E85 daten's..
Well.. I got scammed by the seller, he never saved the key on the DME.. So I did my reserach and I know I gotta send this unit to someone who knows, my problem is that no one knows around here, and the BWM retailer can't sell me a new one because "I didn't brought the car from they".
So guys, what do you recommend? I read that there is a soft and hardware called Abrites, will it work for my issue? may I try the fvdi?

FVDI , AVDI are billiger clone of Abritus.
When your clone fvdi has a luck you can try it but of own risk

Or original Abritus for BMW.
Think about it.
The last chance is HQ Clone but is hard to find it.

What about Immo universal decoding?

What you want - Change the VIN or Immo OFF,
Immo off is not so easy on new BMW with CAS module
You can try with BMW Scanner E/F or V2.0.1 change the VIN and sync between ECU and CAS
