Esys 3.38 PSdZ Error C740 - 6ergsm - 31-05-2022
Hello,
tried to code some ecu from my G05. Have installed Esys 3.38.2 and PSDZ 4.20.30 for my I-Level S18A-19-11-534. Can read FA, can read ECU but If I want to read VCM or Coding Data I got Error C740.

G+ series no longer have VCM as in F series so natural that you can't read it. Not clear what issue you have with reading of coding.

Is there a guide how it works with gseries? (I wanted to go to cafd -> right click -> read coding)

You use Read (ECU) instead of VCM. Everything else is the same.
Update: From your screenshot I see that your ESys thinks it's connected to F001 target. That IS WRONG as G05 is definitely NOT F001. You need to connect Esys to PROPER target for it to work!!!
I suggest you really UNDERSTAND EACH STEP you are DOING before ACTUALLY doing it.

I dont think esys 3.38 supports psdzdata 4.20
Either install older esys version or newer Psdzata

I connected with VIA VIN, so I try to do S18A manual?
Works older Esys with LauncherPro5?
Is it possible do read coding data like F-Serie? Right click - CAFD?

Connection method has nothing to do with the target. It is YOURs and YOURs ALONE responsibility to choose correct target. Whatever the connection method.
I have no idea about LauncherPro5. Maybe it's easier to use newer PsDZ data if this Esys does not work with old one. You still can code older levels even with a new data.
