Discover Media - error [Display configuration (0x45) - spooky75 - 03-06-2022
Hello,
I have retrofitted Discover Media 3Q0035874C to Tiguan 2018 , all coding and adaption is done and everything working fine except one error message which I can't get rid off:
7237 - Function Restricted due to Missing Message(s)
U1111 00 [009] - -
[Display configuration (0x45) - function restriction due to communication error - BapErr_retry not successful]
Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear
When I try to modify/disable adaptations I'm getting error message: Unknown (0x00) in VCDS, VCP can't change adaptations either.

Display configuration work only with 10" AID. I have never had a problem with this adaptation.

Hmm, maybe it's FW in unit does not have support. I will try to update unit and get back with result.

No luck with newest version of software (0879).
Same error.

Which AID gen you have 1st (up to 2018) or 2nd gen (after 2018, with white leds on sides) ?

UPDATE: I was able to change (disable) respective adaptations with ODIS without any problems.
From some reason latest version of VCDS and VCP can't change these
