vehicle bricked after modification of FA and software update - Danmac - 02-09-2022

hi there, I need help
after FA modification of a R12350rt police (I forgot to delete a couple of options) and subsequent software update the bike is bricked, no reaction to anything.
ISTA says no coding possible as the integration level is not known.
ESYS doesn't allow me to modify the FA anymore

please help

Did you save original Fa?
Does the modules respond when reading via esys?

Guys when ask for help in big trouble but also for less, you have to give a lot, a lot of information about what you have done, publish FA, IST, SVT, TAL, diagnosis photos, logs, etc etc.

In this bike you have disconnected all the typical equipment of the police forces ?
Anyway disconnect various lights present on board all motorcycles, it has its importance, many connectors are the same and near and can be easily exchanged causing motorbike stop, near to me it often happens and motorbike doesn't respond

Yes I deleted all police equipment and the general modul for special vehicles. Everything was working fine except the horn, that’s the main reason to modify the FA. Isaved the modified FA, once I modified the FA the bike was working fine.
reading with ista showed the FA modification, and all remaining ecus with no errors, but after updating software with ista no more integration level, so ista does not want to do more than just reading errors, also some ecus are missing...
my mistake was I forgot a couple of police options in the new FA then ista could not update ( I guess it was looking for ecus that are no longer there, general module for special vehicles)
I try flashing with esys without success

Can you upload the FA.xml here?

I’ll post the FA.xml tomorrow morning. I’m in Australia, Going to bed after spending all afternoon trying to flash the bike with esys without success

I've had experience with this before. Decommissioning them was part of my job. Removed lights, sirens, switches, GMSF. Fitted stock horn and modified FA. Horn works. Didn't do i-level update though. Also maintained the rear compartment button operation.

the problem is the ICOM filthy clone

it cannot write the ecus

any idea where to buy a genuine ICOM?

Genuine ICOM Next on backorder. No stock in AG.

This issue was resolved today by flashing all ECU's with ESYS. No more using the clone. Genuine is best.
