I think that goes for changing the Frequence req. soldering. Only changing region is no soldering work.

From EU to USA by OBD2 work. From USA to EU only soldering and programing Eprom.

From obd it posible make with vag can pro.you must change first byte from 2 to 1.but firts you must read eprom with vcp.find line where coding line is stored
