DBs Here... currently using these with 3.49.30

First shared by member 530d. English takes a while to load so trick is to start Ista-D in DE then switch language to EN and BEFORE shutting off Ista-D switch back to DE and so forth... I am not sure how long they will be up on my Mega but enjoy while you can.

EN, DE, ZHCN ONLY. THATS IT. I don't have any other language.
ZHCN - added 5/26/2015

Would this enable me to use both ista/d and ista/p with k+dcan cable?

Thank you very much! Can someone give a link for standalone fix for 3.49.20?

Best regards Duplex

This will enable Ediabas settings in Ista-D, assuming you've configured everything correctly.

Open your ISTAGUI.exe config file and edit:

<add key="BMW.Rheingold.OperationalMode" value="ISTA"/>
change to
<add key="BMW.Rheingold.OperationalMode" value="ISTA_PLUS"/>

As far as the K+DCAN cable goes, it should be sufficient enough to diagnose and code without issues. As far as programming goes, ISTA-P, many warn against that type of cable, although there are those brave few who do and have programmed modules without issues from what they document. ICOM a2 is the way to go and always make sure you have a good power supply as well.

Are these DB files from 3.49.20 or 3.49.10?

That doesn't matter. Both versions use same database

What advantage or improvement over 3.49.10 is there in the 3.49.20 version msi file/installation?

I have the files for 3.49.10 that member 530D had shared and I'm wondering if there is any significant reason to continue on with an 'update'(?) via 3.49.20.

RE: ISTA SYS 3.49.20.13946.msi - KaiO - 18-05-2015

It's just a VIN update, so more cars are covered.

Kaio, so after installing 3.49.10 (with the files/pw provided by 530D - 'ISTA_SYS_3.49.10.13636.msi' & 'ISTA_SYS_3.49.istapackage'), is it simply just a matter of executing the 3.49.20 msi file?
