With (DAS) always this message is no connection .it is only when (DAS) that way. Was this ever working? If your com2 port is set correctly, the next step would be test your RS232 cable. Run Self Diagnose within Star Utilities. If you have access to another working Star system, try to connect your MUX to the other PC using your RS232 cable. I presume that MUX powered up when connected to a car. LED on the MUX is lighting OK ? My bet is bad cable.
