This script is NOT the 3GP script that replace "MMI3GApplication" so is completely safe to use it.
It just only copies the "00040009.fsc" into the right place, you can't brick the MMI with it.

It's not his script but Carson-patch
3GP Scripts are Carson patch and it will brick the MMI if script is canceled while installing or firmware version mismatch.
Walawa script (for 3G High and 3G Basic) is safe, even if the fsc file are copied to the wrong place or it is "half-copied"... it will don't brick the MMI.

I will then use the script from walawa. But I did still got no answer of the firmware updates. Do I need to update to any specific firmware when using script from walawa??

Script is compatible with all versions, it just copy the fsc file (license) to the correct folder.
If the map works with that firmware you shouldn't have any problems
If the map need a newer versión you will need to update the firmware too.

Hello,
So now I got the car and I saw that is on K0031_2. So I first put the dvd with the maps east europe 2015 (btw on screen it was reading 2014 when asked for update, I downloaded maps from other thread on this forum that stated that maps are 2015 and in the car I get the number of maps 4G0919884Q EUE 5.20.4) to see if the MMI will read the maps. The maps was strated but as expected after 2-3 mintues I have got navigation block message. Then I ejected dvd and insert the sd with the walawa75 script. The script was procceded in about 5 sec. Then I got the strange bacground which was not black any more but with last picture of maps (I thought that I brick mmi), but all the functions was working. Then I insert the dvd one more time and I got back the black background in the menus, but after 2-3 min I still have naigation block message.
So am I doing something wrong or I maybe have old maps?

When script shows the "strange background" you have to press any button and script will copy the fsc file to the location and the background will appear again.
After that, reboot the mmi and it will be activated.

First, Sorry for late answer. You probably think about strange background in russian language? I did not thing that. I had a burn in image from the map menu as background (it is hard do describe and I do not have any pictures). But this is not important any more, because I then reset the MMI and the strange background was gone as well as maps started to work.
