Used module F series programming - gfriedrichi - 22-05-2015

Hi guys,

Does anybody knows if installing an used module on f series is it necessary to erase older vin info as happens on e series
I am familiar programing used modules for e series using winkfp but i think it does not support f series

Hi, no winkfp does no support F sereies.
It depends which module you want to install, some of them aka NAVI have FSC code for activation, some other module related to NAVI functionality also depend on VIN, but other modules no.
And for the record, you cannot erase VIN, you can only change it in new UIF(AIF)

Thanks, should try this week using e-sys, module is hu_nbt...acording to my costumer after pen drive update radio/lcd is dead
