Genuine ICOM Next J2534 - weinerbarn - 10-03-2023
Is it possible to use a Genuine ICOM Next A as a J2534 device? I know BMW has a pass thru driver to use other generic J2534 devices but can't seem to find info on going the other way. My situation is that I use ICOM Next for BMW ISTA and it's perfect. However, I'd like to use the ICOM with other vehicles that support J2534 (Mercedes, Audi) without having to invest in additional interfaces if possible.

Simple answer is NO.
it's not just about drivers(software), it's about hardware and ICOM hasn't been designed for it(hardware).
