BMW F11 CAS4 dead after read on bench - djalby - 18-03-2023
Hi guys.
Strange thing. I was reading CAS4 5M48H on bench with VVDI Prog and CAS 4 solder free adapter. Backup berofe adding key. 2 first attemps nothing, I reconnect adapter and PROG started reading. Results: D-flash and P-flash empty... I ordered new CAS from BMW, but how is possible that only with reading is CAS dead? I tried solder it then but same results.
Why Im writing here. Has anybody some P and D flash for this unit? It doesnt matter what type, I would like to test only dead CAS, where is mistake. Thanks

Thats full read from a similar one.
Write your vin, ECU ISN, Edit Frequency, Virginize keys, flash with ur FA .. everything should be good.

it should be same thing.
but u know, in E series Hitag, you UNLOCK keys with eeprom dump
but in F series, you VIRGINIZE or REFRESH the keys with programmers, without any donor dumps from oem eeprom, just a good programmer with a good virgin file.
