ZGW SVT Calculation Error - MatthewLC - 25-03-2023

Hi Everyone - I'll start by saying I am a novice with Esys flashing. I built myself a bench set up to start learning flashing/retrofits etc.. I bought a used ZGW 01-High off ebay (early metal case from F10) and figured I'd start with flashing an update to ZGW to get the basics.

Read I-step shipment from ZGW (F01-09-08-517). Proceeded to TAL - Calculation > Read FA > Read ECU > Under SVT target set Istep dates for complete flash > calculate.

This is where I receive error "KIS error: Das logistische Teil mit der Sachnummer 9240758 ist nicht bestellbar. [1283] "

From what I can find when searching the forum is that this is likely due to incorrect Istep shipment selection. Not sure how it could be incorrect since I read it directly from ZGW? Regardless tried multiple different istep shipment dates and still get same error?

Any recommendation on how to troubleshoot this error would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

You can’t generate a Tal with a full FA and ECU List with one ECU inside.
Btw. if you flash the ZGW01 metal case with ENET you have a good chance of destroying it.

Would the solution be to read VCM instead of reading ECU? Reading VCM produces SVT list with all ECU's but I tried this way and still get the same error.

How would one modify FA for this situation? I'm assuming remove some of the VO codes but if ZGW is gateway it doesn't have it's own VO code (or does it)?

Also - using external router with DHCP server to flash ZGW. I've successfully updated ZGW in my car using this method.

Thanks for your help!

You can create a tal based on 1 ecu... Your problem is related to frm and Istep... try to play with your FA and Istep

Newer istep or vo with newer build date not helps for flashing this old zgw. New date will be calculated zgw 02. It will not display the right swfl.
