BMW cas3 change power class - NickMayer - 21-07-2023

Hi,

I need to change power class (CLASS_PWR) in CAS.

need 2 i belive or manual how i can change it myself

powerclass changed to 2.

powerclass is 00, 0xB352 and chk 0xB357
C2/9A =pc00
D2/AA =pc01
E2/BA =pc02

this is right info to change yourself ?

in your case Power class 02 = E2 , Chks C0

yes , i research to do myself before post , i i post different cas file  ,from different car , so instead of asking to do it i just do it myself , by comparing files , sorry to copy past you cas 2 manual , i post it before read it is for cas2 . at least i dont need to ask cas2 or cas3 anymore , and who use search will find how to do it here . sory again for copy past angel

i tried to use brain.exe and HXD )) on right file , can you check if i edit right

There two way to calc crc
I followed Mr ___ANGEL___ post and managed to find pc + cs

CRC
0xB57 -> **
CRC = (0xB50:0xB56) checksum-8

Correct
