e60 active steering delete - brycedow - 01-08-2023 hi i have a 2006 bmw e60 with a dead active steering module i have decided to remove the system from the vehicle the problem is after i remove 217 from vehicle order and reflash dsc zb 6769709 to 6769705(non al) all lights go out and no faults stored but under light acceleration and turning dsc activates. no hardware has been changed at this stage except fuse 40 removed does anybody have a solution for this issue? RE: e60 active steering delete - jaki - 01-08-2023 Have you coded the whole car? Have you deleted all learnings/adaptions, autocodings from DSC, DDE and EGS? I have once diagnosed one E60 with AL, but no idea who and how the deleting was sone. Anyay, car looked like having normal steering and none faults, so this is possible. Yes I did code whole car and reset adaptions but still no difference unfortunately RE: e60 active steering delete - that4chanhacker - 01-08-2023 remove from VO like you did and code DSC, SZL, Kombi, KBM ETC (I would code everything incase I left it out) but the biggest thing is to unplug the module, I know you removed the fuse but just unplug it all together RE: e60 active steering delete - qbek90 - 06-08-2023 You must change DSC,DSC for active steering is different. RE: e60 active steering delete - mechanior2686 - 06-08-2023 Exactly without replacing the DSC will not work properly RE: e60 active steering delete - aleksandrw - 07-08-2023 https://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=34801 |
