Hello,
Just want to double check with you guys.
I got G32 for a ECE conversion from Korea. If I understand the process correct in order to install ECE maps I need to order FSC: FSC 172->173 and then initial navigation enabling code ?

You need map conversion FSC ONLY! It will allow to install current map of the new region.

are you saying that 155 fsc file does not need to be placed in usb stick?

I'm saying that region conversion FSC ALSO acts as initial map FSC for a new region. So you do not need to buy it in addition to conversion FSC. At least that is my experience.

Hm,
Korea is using another nav enabler as Europe - so if you try to order the conversation FSC to Europe, the system will refuse the order.
Btw. the initial FSC is only possible to generate once, initial FSC was for Korea and now, conversation FSC is needed.
Conversation FSC is able to install the latest map which is released within the month as the conversation FSC got created.
The initial FSC inlcudes also three year after creation time for free map updates for the region.

@Thorsten and @mbm171 are correct. Worst case scenario you need set of three FSC's: navigation region change, speech and then enabling code for navigation.
