Glow plugs values Nissan x-trail t32 dci bad start - AlexM3F80 - 18-02-2024
hi guys! The Nissan X-trail t32 1.6 dci started badly in a slightly low temperature on the street. It showed the DTC by glow plugs. The measurement of resistance on glow plugs showed the following results:
1st cylinder - 4.77 Kiloohm
2nd cylinder - 0 (not at all)
3rd cylinder - 60 Kiloohms
4th cylinder - 342 Ohm
Does anyone know the nominal resistance values on glow plugs?

The resistance in this engine should be between 0.2 - 0.8 Ohm

Goddamn! Those are totally toasted!
Yeah, normal value for new glowplug is 0.7-0.9 Ohm. Anything over 1,5 ohm, in general, is a concern and should be replaced before colds.

Thanks you guys for help! I changed glow plugs to new OEM and now car starts like brand new))
