For cars up 2014 you must do it online older cars you can do with standard ids

It asks to close ids and use Etis on a 2009 focus.
So I think that you have to use Etis???

In Future Ford works only in Online Mode(Etis,Etis IDS)
Standard IDS will Die.
New Cars wih Euro 6 Engines works only Online, Ids works too but all Funktions aren't supported.
