UPA HC05 motorola immo chip connection - dil6222 - 30-07-2015

Hello there can anyone help? smile

I have upa programmer v1.3 and wish to read Motorola immo chip hc05.

need some instructions on how to do this smile

i believe i solder to certain board then connect to upa and read
or can i do it via wires ?

any help is appreciated smile

It works with wires. Search in upa pdf. You have everithing you need.
I belive it is immo box from vw ?

it is the same as the one I already have I don,t understand connection method if you could help it would be appriecieted.

my immo chip is hc05b16

I am new to this whole programming thing smile

I see which pins correlate to pins on chip but not how to connect them.

Connecting to the output 9 pin in upa.

do I need to desolder chip with air gun?
I need detailed instructions if you can smile

I only got my upa today.

which pins on chip to connect to which pins on upa
and where they are located and on which adaptor

I can upload pictures of chip boards etc if you need them.

Man if you cannot understand what everibody has explained to you, just leave-it like that.
You wil do more damage than good.
Hc05 it is not an easy task.

i have no problem with soldering desoldering with hotair
I know what all the pins on the chip are pin 9 etc I just need to know where pin 9 is on upa prog and any others that need connecting I have hc05 diagram from upa manual so I no what pins need connecting to which numbers but not where they are on upa boards.

if you can answer some questions it would be appriecieted.

1. do I have to remove chip from immo board and solder on upa adapter or can it stay in place and just attach wires ?

I see 2 places I can wire
1-9 by hotwire direct to pins on 1 adapter
or possibly solder to another adapter j1
I can upload photos so you can confirm smile

Upa reads HC05 in the system, you do not have to unsolder.
Solder cables and connect the 9-pin connector. Remember to disconnect the VDD from the plate.
