Mini R55 2008 Really loud warning tones since amp upgrade.



After amp upgrade from HIFI to a Harman Kardon are
warning tones very loud. Is it possible to adjust this volume and what program should I use.

No. How do I do that?

NCS expert.
You need to add the hifi amp to the VO (or GM/SA/VN on older cars) then recode the modules.

Manually you can use NCS Expert and NCS Dummy to go through the coding trace of the radio modules and you should find options for lowering volume, but the correct way of editing the option codes is better and easier.

For BMW the SA is:
S674A Hi-Fi System Harman Kardon

I presume for MINI it is the same SA.
make sure you updated the SP-Daten correctly in NCS first

I don't know, you have to look through all of the options, so the best way is to add " $674 " to the options, and then use NCS expert to do the automatic determination of the coding which will do all of the correct options itself.

I presume for MINI it is the same SA.
make sure you updated the SP-Daten correctly in NCS first

You will also need to remove $6FD which is the MINI HiFi option in NCS and then code ECU for the head unit.
