F25 X3 - LCI Climate control panel
I am looking to fit a LCI climate control panel to my pre LCI F25 X3. I have seen two threads on Bimmerfest who have done it.
But I am getting conflicting info to whether any coding is required. Current X3 has dual zine climate and so has new panel. Has anyone fitted a LCI climate control panel on there F25? If so, is it a straight swap or is coding required? Thanks |

So i think there will be no problem. VO code it with Esys and you are safe! If my post helped you hit the thanks and reputation button.

I was told it is the following; Connect => Read FA (VO) => Activate FA (VO) => Read SVT (VCM) => Left-Click on desired ECU => Click on "Detect CAF for SWE" => Select the CAFD from above => Select OK => Right-Click on ECU (the ECU itself not the underlying CAFD) => Select CODE Is this correct? |

But when it's a used IHKA3, then do the following: Connect => Read FA (VO) => Activate FA (VO) => Read ECU => Right-Click on IHKA3 (Not on the CAFD) => Select CODE. Just to update this thread. I upgraded to the LCI HVAC panel and it worked straight away, no coding was needed.
