I'm going to do a DPF OFF at two cars: BMW E60 2006 M47 engine and Opel Astra H 2007 1.9 CDTI 101 hp z19dt. It's ok to do this with an MPPS V16 cable and to modify the files with Safe ECU 2.0? Will it work mpps 16 cable with both ecu cars? What's the difference between mpps16 and kess v2 or galletto? and finaly, how do i tell in rheingold ista -d or op-com if the dpf was removed from ecu maps? any other suggestions are wellcome.

If you want to do dpf off with ecu safe better forget it
i cant belive in 2018 somebody still work with ecusafe

I'm not a pro, i want to do this dpf off at those 2 cars and that's it, no more other map mod. i can download the files from ecus with a cable and upload them here on this forum if somebody is so kind to modify them. but i don't know wich cable to buy, i haven't bought the cable yet. so, i would apreciate if somebody would answer my questions in the first post. one more question, i know it's silly, both these 2 ecu are edc 16? thanks.

if you have dpf off you do not need to do anything in reihngold
Whether mpps v16 works on astra I can not tell you

no mate, you missed understood. i want to read ecu with mpps 16 cable, modify file with dpf off, write back in ecu with mpps and then i was wondering if there is a way to tell if the dpf was properly removed from software using rheingold.
and the only way a know by now to modify the files is ecu safe. i'm a rookie.
