Hi all,

I'm using a VAS5054A with Xentry Passthru. I haven't run into trouble using any offline functions. However, I'd like to update the transmission software (which will require logging in). I purchased a 24 hour pass from startekinfo.com, thinking I could use that login. This has not worked. Am I doing something wrong, or is that a different system all together? Other than paying someone on aliexpress for a one time login, is there a cost effective way to get a short-term login?

Startekinfo is online knowledge database. Login is not for online Xentry resources.
So yes, you are right. Different system.

 Ok thanks. Is paying someone for a one time log in the cheapest solution then? Also, does Xentry prompt you to log in each time you go to flash a control unit, or does it stay logged in for a bit? I may want to update more than one.

Once you are logged in, you are staying in. Until you turn off xentry or log off. 
You can do as many cars you like, until above.
