Hi,

I have strange problem with ISTA and old e38 from 94 year.
After connection I can see faults and delete them but if I want go to claculate test plan I get empty window.
I get empty window too when try to open service function.

I use icom a2 + icom c with round connector

You need go into the module and then use service functions. Just like using DIS.

Ok, so call up ecu function and there I found service function for reseting cbs etc?

What aboute test plan for faults? You see in first attachement I have 4 error codes. Before I delete errors there were faults "lambdaintegrator" on bank 1 and 2. Thats are faults I was most interest to test.

I dont have much old cars in garage but few month ago I have 5 series and there I can go to test plan and test components. It looks different then in newer cars, like "DIS" style, but it work....

You cannot reset CBS by using ISTA or DIS. You have to do manually.
All test plans are within the ECU itself. Just use function structure.

This is false. There should be a test plan, I've always had it on earlier versions of ISTA. I'm having this same issue currently.

You CAN reset CBS with ICOM. There must be service function. KDCAN does not have a wire for it.

Car is 94my ,so for that old cars there is no test plan and thinking must be enabled here. In all ECU you must enter individually. I will tell you that there is a service function in IKE that you set in the SIA indication (Yes, CBS wasn't there yet).
