this code means the transfer case clutches are at the end of its life. If you try to take a fluid sample, usually burnt.

Yes, but (at least on some cars?) it is stored in the module which is integral to gear drive motor. So if you replaced that thing from the EOL case, it will come with that code. And then calibration will fix that code.

So given OP did not provide any useful information at all I thought such a case is worth mentioning.

In f25 fault 440101 vtg end of transmission service life reached. 4x4 present in instrument cluster. Ista show that vrg must be replaced. But vtg work OK. Is there any option to code this out?

if you want to delete the error, you've to do vtg calibration with ista.

if you want to do the correct work, rebuild vtg and do exchange procedure with programming, coding and calibration.

in SI B27 03 15 is well described and shows that specific dtc.

Hi. I've got same 440101 error on F15. I can't do calibration with ISTA because if error is present procedure won't start. I think it needs some magic work with Tool32. Someone can help?

Does not matter what you do with ista or Inside the vtg box you will not delete end of life error.

Only way is to virgin the vtg module or replace it .
