2010 Mini John Cooper works S cabrio FRM3 high dump needed
The mini has returned and I’m running into the same problems as before. For some reason the FRM is not accepting the vin change and the lighting decides to act up when it chooses to after 10-15 minutes of run time. I’m also getting no response from the transmission after 10-15 minutes of being on. If I let it cooldown for an hour or more, the transmission will act normal and so do the lights. I’m sure the PT Can lines are going berserk due to a corrupt FRM. The dump I loaded in the FRM was off a R56 FRM3 high, which I believe the difference between the R56 and R57 is the sunroof/convertible controls. The fog lights don’t work and I believe it’s because of the wiring. There’s a spliced wire yellow/red tracer that a yellow/blue tracer is tapped into on the connector containing the outputs of the frm module. The yellow/blue might be my fog light wire, which I’ll trace later. I am open to any suggestions or links to the correct dump. I’ve searched the forums for a R57 dump and all I’ve found is the R56 dump. *** I found a dump on autoECUfile.com for 61353456952 for R57 FRM3 high, now this car has R56 FRM3R high 61353456051 as the physical unit. Is it possible to just load the dump from 61353456952 into 6051 or do I need to get 6952? I’m going to make calls as of tomorrow for the 6952 if I need that to solve this issue. Thanks in advance guys!
