hello there

is there some way how to virgin champ2 unit - those with "move" maps. have few friends who have failed their units during update of maps, or failed from one day to another. unfortunately still strugling with error creation date when trying to use fsc from AOS

I’ve never found solution to it. They are stored on visible partition of the sd-card. But seems there is backup on flash memory elsewhere. After clearing it on sd-card it returns after reboot. Probably only way is emulator.

Even after finding hu with older fsc you are stuck with map code which will never accept somehow…

I've replaced a few CHAMPs with older ones recently and all are working without issues.

Sometimes the FSCs don't get loaded correctly the first time (i use Dr Gini on R56 series), if I read them back there are a few bytes different. But you can store them again and I always got them to work in the end.
You can also upload the short FSC using Dr. gini, I had to do this once. Maybe depending on the map version.

I am very interested in the virgin solution by the way.
