I've done it few times, quadlock is small beer. You will also need to add cables to the audio panel, and also to the ambient ring (ambient or whatever the mini fans call it). The second thing is Obar plug, if you don't want to replace the bdc then don't bother with it as it won't work with basci bdc...
Then just 4 cables to the controller and coding.

You are right. Its not plug&play... did it 3 times by now and its plenty of work.
And I have BIS to Quadlock-Adapter to make it a little bit easier...
OABR is not needed when your´re able to flash bench. 
But in this case no Enav2 is possible! Only NBTEVO!

Why no enav2??

I’ve done 2 mini’s from bis01 to enav2 without any problem.

its impossible! You cannot activate Enav2 bench and BIS-Cars have no BDC with ENET installed...
ENET is absolutely needed to activate Enav2.... You need to change BDC first and noone pays for it...!

Enav2 is activable by bench, done many times. The last one one month ago.

Only with OEM FSCs but not patched!
HU Tools says also that it is not possible yet!

I have same parts on bench. it is not working, everytime the FSCs are rejected..
I asked Peter from HUTool for support and he said that it is not possible to activate on bench!
only NBTevo...

So he is the developer of this tools and should know whats possible or not

I tested it yesterday again.
1st) The patching procedure completes 100% without error and maps are not available.
After restart HU all FSC´s are recjected.

2nd) Flashed again, patched (no restart on bench) and installed in car and checked FSC-status - again rejected!

3rd try - just patching the HU and installing in car without FSCs. Trying to install FSC-pack - worked!

Another try - and this is the most craziest part cause FSCs coming over CANbus and not ENET - when installing the enav2 in a car without enet from BDC (like Mini with BIS or just RAD). Of course patching in car is not possible due to ENET missing but tried bench patching and installing FSCs in car - errors over errors! its not working!
There must be a handshake via ENET or something similar...

I wrote with Peter from HU-engTool and told him your stories and he also said that it is not (yet) possible to activate the ENAV2 bench!

I can make a video for you and Peter if you want. It works. Let car go to sleep with headunit. After sleep all works and FSC's are accepted.

Maybe the problem are in your zgw bench setup or on the can emulator.

Try reading fault codes on bench and you will understand why fsc gets rejected in zgw bench
