The original existing battery was EFB, but when registering a new one, the AGM battery is registered as EFB. 

 I want to change it to AGM.

Seems you use ISTA so go to retrofits (coding only) and change battery type there.

Could you tell me  more detail ?


ISTA show below :

     1) Exchange battery with same capacity 
     2) Exchange battery with lower/bigger capacity  
     3) Exchange battery from normal to AGM  or EFB  ( change normal lead-acid battery to AGM or EFB)
     4) End service function


But  my F48  original battery was EFB not "normal lead-acid"

Therefore, I did not chose #3.

But #1 menu just registered new battery as an EFB instead AGM.

close the service function, and select programming and choose retrofits, select AGM battery type and determine measures plan or use E-SYS and change VO E-Wort from E070 to A070 or A080 depending if your changing to a 70AH or 80AH AGM battery, encode the BDC and then register the battery
