Hi all,

It looks like that in Ford IDS 97.01, there is no more 3 days license. And new firmware for VCMII was placed in VCM manager. I guess with new blacklist of VCMII.

If someone will have any solution how to obtain license, please share it with us.

I hope, TizWoz knows what is going on in new IDS 97...

Try to install ford ids v91 or v92
Activate it to have 3 days
Then upgrade it to v97
Use the Manager without blackliste indicated by Tizwaz
I hope its usefull for you. Don't ask me more because I still useing v86.04 till I will find a solution to change the S/N in my vcm 2

Hi
First of all to use a VCM II clone with newer version of Ford IDS then v96.05 as v97.xx is you need a clone with a non blacklisted serial
Using old trick will do not work ( as I understaood from my research )
I tried my VCM II clone with blacklisted serial in VMware with Ford IDS v96.05
Well there is solutions to use Ford IDS native installation with license but this is not public and till not I don't have it.
The license ( for each computer - not a patch ) cover any Ford IDS versions but as I said for newer version as 97.xx you need to use a clone with non blacklisted serial or a genuine tool
I do not use this solution for the moment and I haven't more info then this
