XZBMW  Just getting started
I bought a new engine and it came with all the computers. The amount that the dealership wants to charge for a spare makes no sense. I've asked around and it seems that nobody on my island does this so my option would be to remove my CAS and FedEx it to someone in the states to make a pair of keys for me for a couple hundred bucks. Personally, I'd like to invest in the gear to make my own fob. I've been looking at the BMW MultiTool as the programmer for a blank. Do I have this wrong? What can I read up to get walking down this road? Where are the most reliable blanks? AVDI? Multitool? Something else? Did I miss a sticky when I was reading and searching???

Thanks in advance.
