Why this old thread is being discussed as the issue is solved with newer ISTA-D version.
It is not in ediabas at all, the issue is inside ista-d/rheingold v3.50.10.
I do not remember if this is fixed in 3.50.32, but for sure it does not exist in 3.50.42 as this is the one I'm currently using.

I have same problem on my icom a2 ist brand neu only 2-3 time use on car...end after no more KL/15 ...end i make it open inside the icom a2....one chip from mainboard ist burned!!!! on the chip write G407562 i can dont found what ist the chip name ....end i make it 4 pitchures from mainbord ....now i sent to back to china seller for replace the icom a2 ..tomorrow arived to me

We are discussing it because running the same installation on my laptop. Works fine there.

I can confirm that newest version has'nt this error anymore
