E71 6FL
Hello ,
I’m currently in the process of retrofitting Combox in an 09 x6. I'm looking to repin the connector but not sure if I Have TCU + MULF. I’m able to see the TCU and the car have 6fl but I can’t find MULF. Vin: L222811 If anyone can help me with the correct pinout I need that would be great Thanks in advance. |

RE: E71 6FL
HI,
car should have TCU for bluetooth speaking and Mulf 2 High for USB function. BUT a bigger problem should be, that your car has a CCC navsystem from OEM. So you have retrofitted a CIC navsystem to get the combox working. Thorsten |

RE: E71 6FL
I'm looking for mulf in istaD and find it under this middle rear "seat", looks both rear seats have to be removed and than also this middle one part
but CCC not compactible with combox, have to start with CIC instalation next step - preLCI e70/1 have problem with cic - no PDC image, have to use emulator or change JBBF module. |

RE: E71 6FL
Great thanks for the info guys!
I’ve already retrofitted cic with emulator to fix PDC/RFK Next question is do the combox go where the tcu is in the trunk or where the mulf is under the rear seat does it matter? |

RE: E71 6FL
It depends on your decision. Combox replaces mulf as first option - so TCU can cooperate with combox, or you can get rid of TCU also. It depends if you want to keep SOS/Telematics funcions or not. Idid this on e90 and f10 where you have both of those modules on same plate, but different side, but not this kind it is 1meter between them. If you throw away MULF - you have to move USB wire, if you plug it instead of Mulf, you have to move BT antena and microphone wires at least
