RE: ISTA diagnostic protocol viewer FASTAOut
I don't quite get that Fasta must be enabled?
I have the 4.09.20 standalone installed on one of my laptops and that saves the .BEHDAT-files on every VIN lookup? (Haven't had it connected to a car yet.)

Do you guys mean that it must be enabled to see finished read-outs/lookups in ISTA or is Fasta more than just a log?

You need to replace the file "RheingoldSessionController.dll" with the .dll with FASTA enabled (use the search function here).

Normally thats always disabled in Standalone version.

That's the reason why i post this?

Rheingold standalone from here has always disabled FASTA.
He want to read out FASTA, so he only need to replace the .dll. (which is always in the standalone named as "RheingoldSessionController.dll.ORIGINAL".

Checked and confirmed! rofl

But it still doesn't bring up any entries in Finished operations?
(VIN lookup only, since I still haven't connected it to a car)

Well... First of all, calm down, would you?
We are defenitly not talking about the same thing, I guess?

In an older version, I could (under Finished operations) see every car I have looked up or connected to.
Thats the only thing I want back?

My "FASTAOut" folder contains all cars I have looked up or connected to, but none of them are showing in ISTA anymore, after I upgraded to a newer version.
(I don't remember which version it worked, only that it's a while ago and not due to 4.09.20)
I have already wasted several hours on removing and installing older versions to see which one it worked, but without any luck.

I could have been more precise, yes. - And I'm sorry for that.
I just thought that FASTA/the .DLL-file also had something to do with the missing finished operations in ISTA.
Otherwise, as earlier posted, I don't quite get what FASTA is and why it has to be enabled, now when my 4.09.20 saves the .BEHDAT-files without any changes.
