Did my first FRM recovery successfully. Very fulfilling..

So this car's FRM3 just went dead. Red in ISTA. I have VVDI pro
Got a dump from some good chap, first convert the Pflash to EEprom, then created an EEprom sector in the FRM. Then wrote to the EEPROM. Success. FRM back to life.

Next I wand to clone a CAS 2. Still waiting to try the lambda delete.

I have a new problem. I can read from my Kess and started my work on the car only to realize that my ECU isn't in the protocol list! Writing will be impossible! It only shows a Bosch ECU for the N43B20 but I have a Continental.

How do I get additional Protocols?

I found some ECUs are not OBDII readable so you have to bench them and use another programmer like KTAG. Under protocols you can also pick an ECU with near architecture but never tried it myself. I noticed this problem when I tried reading an MSV45 ECU for a 520 using the 530i protocol. Failure.

Very, very cool. You have screenshots to guide those who need it?
