doubt virtual read galletto v54
hello friend,I a begginer!!
 I have a ecu bosch me7.9.10 already mapped . With galletto v54 I read obd mode on the car and it makes me a "virtual read" of the file. the file checked with ecm looks original (compared with file ori, the two files are identical). Why? the "virtual read" is not the exact reading of the file contained in the ecu? to read the real file I have to read it in boot mode? thank you |

Virtual read means that the tool is reading flash ID and giving you a pre-made stock identical file that you can flash back. It uses manufacturer flashing protocols to sideload the modified file, without boot mode.
