Greetings,

i have a kess v2 v5.017 china clone.
Now this kess supports simos 18/simos18.1, simos 12 ect.. the only problem i keep having is i get a checksum error when choosing the file i would like to write. i can read the id of the ecu but no writing or recovery.
Every other ecu works, only the new simos ones are a bit weard.

does anyone of you have a solution for this?
i installed a new visual studio, tryed another kess program, still same problem.

i hope someone can help me

its a 4mb file, i have heard kess v2 could do these files.
but not the 4.5mb files.
is this true?

Hi, have you tried changing the ksuite dll for kess 5017?

I have kess v2 5.017 ksuite 2.47, I downloaded and installed the software, from the link I posted before and extracted the dll to replace it with the dll of my ksuite 2.47.
With this solution my kess v2 now has no error
checksum and allows writing and retrieval on simo 18.

The link have updated 2.43 dll's...? Is this newer than your 2.47?
