I have a 2015 VW Tiguan. I replaced the right hand Headlight / daytime driving light bulb the bulb is a H15. I made the mistake of replacing the bulb with the engine running and now the new bulb doesn't work and when I scanned it I get the following code 01499 Right hand high beam headlight -M32-open circuit/short circuit to B+ . Also I get 02746 Right daytime running lamp bulb-open circuit/short circuit to B+. I have checked all of the fuses but all are good I have switched the bulbs over from left to right but no use. Can anyone help.

Is it possible that you pulled to hard on the wires inside? 
Is everything connected as it should?
So you did switched the bulb to other side and there it went on?

I have solved the problem. When installing the H15 bulb make sure that the bulb is pushed firmly into the bulb holder and turned I think clockwise to secure into position make sure that the three spade connections on the bulb come into contact with the connection in the lamp as the connection in the lamp can and did in my case move away from the connectors and because of this the lights didn't work. I had to remove the lamp to see this as the wiring connections are located at the upper part of the lamp. I hope this information will help someone else.
