On topic you was asked to provide ISTA logs. I don't see them. And don't want to guess as simple guesses clearly did not help.

Ever installed ISTA-P or HDD update???? Those are DEFINITELY not some "user created programs".

On the rest I agree, I install on C only software which needs reinstalling anyway after windows install.

I think you know what i meant. You can try to install where ever you want but to install in ProgramData on purpose shows that you didnt understand microsoft.

Well I guess BMW does not understand Microsoft then. As most of their soft is originally installed in there.

This folder is normally for shared user data and is also not having so restricted rights on it. Its a hidden folder so that "normal" users arent seeing him. Of course is BMW and a lot of other software placing files there but these are for common use and not for maininstallation. Have you seen while setup of BMW software that the path "C:\ProgramData" is set by default ?

You're writing nonsense. The Rheingold does not need to be installed on the C drive. It can also be installed on other drives, even portable ones. It is enough that in reg .edit we give the correct path "InstallLocation" = ".
For example, mine is this: "InstallLocation" = "C: \ Rheingold"
Where Rheingold was installed has nothing to do with the programming not working. If the installation location is incompatible with the registry, Rheingold will not start.

Im not writing nonsens. You should learn to read and understand. I never wrote that you had to install Rheingold. I never wrote that you have to place it on C: drive. I only wrote that ProgramData is not a good place for manual software installation and that you could install software whereever you want.

I will, the solution for me was disable the realtime scan of the AV of the installtion-directory of ISTA. Example: D:\EC-APPS.

Hi was there any other solution i got same problem with latest ista 4.37.20 been now uninstalled cleaned register and once dowload hole packgage again and installed but ended allways same result and been using that sedoy installer

You must request a new key from Sedoy. If dealer data is showing winfasta, you need a new key.
