Online ISTA could restore service history registered on BMW servers - the OFFICIAL one. I don't know if hu manager keeps any backups...

you could make a little service at your bmw dealer.
with the new service added they can restore your history with official ista if you have documented your service history you can also easily restore it by yourself with Service Manager Extended or HU-SHM Lite. |
