it doesn´t make a sense..because the 5 wires from oabr should go directly to obd2, so if there no one of them broken it shouldn´t make a difference where you are connected (bench or obd2 in car)
I tested for wire continuity between the OABR and RJ45 at the end of the OBD cable when connected to car, all is fine. If i set ip adress manually i get the same result.

I'm gonna measure the resistance and let you know.

Between TX+ and RX+ on my OBD port i get 155 Ohms.

I meant between Tx+ and Tx-. And then Rx+ to Rx-. IMHO, given that ethernet pairs should be galvanically isolated, Tx+ to Rx+ you should get megaohms at least, so it feels like your wires are CROSSED! (meaning either Tx+ is actually Rx- or Rx is actually Tx-). Well, either that or you have a short somewhere.

Wire continuity is fine, so short is not it 100%. You think i swapped the wires around? Do you have OABR pinout with where what pin should be?
I don't know how i would even get a connection if its swapped around? My PC can see that there is a connection on the LAN port.

RE: E60 EVO OABR to OBD Coding
Hello all, managed to get OABR coding working no problems. Only need 4 wires for TX, and RX from OABR to OBD. Node was correct, i switched RX and TX around, after putting them how they should be, all is working fine. No need for ETH_A or any other things for EVO to work with OABR.
