Disable update in Odis
Greetings, I would like to know if there is a possibility of deactivating the Odis updates within the program, since I have tried several ways, in the options of choosing days and deactivating the "in the background" box, but over time it always comes back The update search window appears and it is somewhat annoying, especially on computers that are somewhat slow to start...thanks

RE: Disable update in Odis
The most simple way is to trick the program that postsetup is the same as the one installed so you need to replicate postsetup folder structure and put there just site.xml and then point the program to that update folder. Like this it will think at each check-up that postsetup is the same.

Example:
Create this folder structure:
X:\PS\ODIS_Engineering\Trade-Retail\software\update\
for engineering and
X:\PS\Odis\Trade-Retail\software\update\
for service and in the last folder update add your postsetups site.xml file.
Open Administration in odis and at mirrorserver 2 add as source of update in our case X:\PS\

If you think i helped you please do take 1 second and press THANKS button thumbsup

RE: Disable update in Odis
Hi, I have a better solution. Close ODIS. You need to open the file C:\ProgramData\OS\configuration\.settings\org.eclipse.internal.prefs in a text editor. Below is the line: VAUDAS_Day_Of_Last_Update=17xxxxxxxxxxxx
Rewrite to 18xxxxxxxxxxxx and save.
This is the timestamp of the last update. Odis will not display an update window at startup. For Engineering, OS is OE instead.

Thank you very much, I'll try, do you mean creating an empty site.xml file? or copy the one from the posetup that I have installed?

Just a follow-up question.
Is there a way to update the VAS6154A driver in older ODIS?
I think ODIS 7.2.1 or ODIS 12.2 has 6154A driver as 21.XX but the latest ODIS 23.1.4 has driver 28.XX.

Thanks!
