Polo 6R Dashboard swap
Hello to everyone,
a friend of mine has purchased the instrument cluster from a Seat Toledo (dash nr 6ja920840e) for his Polo 6R (dash nr 6r0920861h).
The new cluster works straight up, lights up and functions correctly.

However, the car won't start because the immobilizer needs to be adapted.
Is there any solution to do this?
I do have instruments to read the eeprom, but not the dash cpu. Both clusters are correctly working.

Thanks in advance to everyone who can help

RE: Polo 6R Dashboard swap
I'm not aware of this.
All I know is that cluster works and this retrofit has been already done by other people. By the way I think swapping chips is more risky as I don't know anyone with the right experience to swap the cpu...

RE: Polo 6R Dashboard swap
This not easy.
Odis online programming,or read immo and key data with suitable instrument.
And enter the data in the used dashboard.
The two dashboards may not be interchangeable.

RE: Polo 6R Dashboard swap
Best and easy path to follow should be trying with odis online. Could you help me sort it out somehow? I know for sure that odis adaptation is not possible for mqb and mlb platform without a brand new cluster. This is PQ25 platform and I don't know if rules change.

RE: Polo 6R Dashboard swap
Carprog clone can do some dash. But is lottery. If will make exactly yours only by try you will see. Carprog clone is a good tool for his price if you don't put all yours expectations on him.
