That’s very funny... do you actually think we blindly patch a byte without knowing the function in use? I doubt the code and function location is the same between v4.x in your screenshot and what the OP requested for v3.47.

Although the end result is that one byte patched, it took me many days to understand where to circumvent FASTA... http://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=18748

To the OP, if you have the 3.47 standalone, I can give it a try! But why use such an old Rheingold version

I know DIS is sometimes better for some, but ISTA+ also does not support older vehicles?

ISTA+ support all models. I did not have problems with diagnostics at E36, E30, E34, E31

ISTA+ support all models. I did not have problems with diagnostics at E36, E30, E34, E31

That is my experience, but I do not tend to work with early E-series.

I was very nicely surprised to see it work on an M6 E63 from 2006. To the OP, if I can RE your above file, there is no way to test it without the full standalone v3.47.

Sorry I checked the method ReadFastaFromVehicle() and its very different in 3.47 vs 4.x, so it may require more thinking how to bypass it in v3.47.
