Car shows errors after updating ista d
Checked car one day ago wirh ista 4.04 and k d can. It had 0 errors.
Installed newer version of isra d, 4.09. Wanted to check the software and diagnosed same car today woth the same cable. Ista 4.09 shows no comunication errors to transfer box, car access system, instrument panel, seat module, controller joystick. Can it be faulty ista d? Or the cable has problems? The car is fully functionaling. |

RE: Car shows errors after updating ista d
Make sure you set your K+DCAN cable latency to 1ms or 2ms. Default of 16ms will give lack of communication randomly.

RE: Car shows errors after updating ista d
Latency was set to 9 for 2 years and had many versions of this software. Everything worked correctly. If I set latency to 1, will I have to change anything in ediabas?

RE: Car shows errors after updating ista d
Nothing needs to be changed in ediabas when you change latency.
Depending on your Windows, sometimes the latency gets defaulted when Windows decides to update the driver (if allowed), etc. Of course there can be other problems, but it's the first thing I would try. |

Solved, thank you.
Issue was latency. I set to com port 9 but latency from 1 was changed to 16. |
