Hi fellas.

Out of curiousity i want to know if there is any difference in the software that we use to flash with in esys and the one BMW use with their original ISTA-D software?

Ive got a F11 that has psdzdata 4.11.xx (18-03-530) flashed at the bmw dealer that wants to have Danish operating instructions which was released with 14-7-520 software, but i want to know if i need to flash it over again with the latest ESYS software if it has any changes done to it to be able to force software into older cars, where you need to change zeitkriterium to be able to make the changes.

All the changes made to make danish operating instructions has been make and vo coded to HU and KOMBI but when selecting in iDrive it goes back to English right away.

The last one i did this to i only flashed with esys and not ista which succeded without problems.

ISTA and E-Sys use same PSdZData.

So flashing HU after Vo coding should make no difference if data is up to date in car?

Coding and flashing are not same thing. If you VO Coded one firmware version, then flashed ECU with new firmware and VO Coded it, it can be different. If you flash with same firmware, then there would be no difference.
