I need help guys Ive installed the latest version of ISTA-D 4.12 on my laptop using windows 7 64 bit I have followed the steps to the letter even did the unblock files thing using 7-zip ive installed and deleted and reinstalled the program at lease 8 times and it all installs well but once i go to run the program nothing happens and no error message just does nothing im stumped any help would be greatly appreciated

And who will install the Net Frameworks for you?
Users do not install anything, and then ask questions here on the forum, ... why it does not work ... error ...

If you are asking if I installed the net framewroks Yes I did install them if you read my initial post I stated that I followed the instructions to the letter and whats the point of a forum if I cant ask other members for help

If you go to run the program nothing happens and no error message just does nothing.
This means that you did not install any of the Net Frameworks: 4.5.2, 4.6.1, 4.6.2, 4.7.0, 4.71, 4.7.2 and 3.5
This is a common mistake when nothing happens.

Did you check Windows Event Viewer for any error messages?

Did you check Windows Event Viewer for any error messages?

I figured out the problem I dont know if this solution will help anyone else but it fixed my concern. I have bitdefender antivirus installed on my computer and the software was blocking ISTA from running for some reason it saw the program as a trojan, for anyone who has any type of antivirus software its a good idea to check to make sure that ISTA is not being blocked by said software
