Did you swap the chip from the old to the new BDC module cause you won't be able to encode the ECU if not done already.

I have swapped Body Control Module as old one got faulty and create issues with lights. New one works fine however new unit needs coding as sunroof does not work. Problem I have is that only INPA reads vehicle and only engine ECU there is 'NO RESPONSE FROM UNIT' message on rest. ISTA D couldnt see the car either.
I  have read about syncing EWS with ECU in SSS Progman but I cannot unlock MINI as VMare does not allow me to map the drive where file is which needs changing settings.

Use ncsexpert to code. Zke or gm5 or BC1 module. If coding fails use sg_codieren_ohne_fg

You need to bridge pins 7&8 of k+dcan. This sounds like a connection problem.

If you can't connect with INPA, SSS Progman and ISTA will not connect. They all use the same framework.
