Noob question time - so apologies in advance

I have a Mini F57 (2016) with NBT Unit (as far as I can tell). I would like to

1. Ensure NBT Unit software is upto date as much as possible (it has the larger 8" screen)
2. Retrofit Car Play to it as I understand it can't be natively enabled.
3. Make some minor coding tweaks to the car
4. Update Maps

Am I right in saying:

1. I need ISTA for this and ENET DOIP cable for coding?
2. Update FSC Codes to allow maps to be updated into the future
3. Software on USB for NBT Update?
4. For CarPlay - I assume a kit from AliExpress etc?

thats not NBT but NBT evo id4. in some circumstances it can be updated to newer interface, and it will allow you to code Carplay also

Is it like VAG cars with patch to add FSC codes for Car Play and extend FSC code for Maps etc via Telnet and USB?
